About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the websites jabdesk.com and ujt.jabdesk.com and to the browser extensions sold under the JabDesk brand, currently Upwork Job Tracker and QuickReply Pro (each a “Product”).
JabDesk is an independent software developer based in Turkey (“JabDesk”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing a Product, starting a trial or buying a license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Products.
The Products
Our Products are productivity extensions for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Upwork Job Tracker monitors Upwork job searches and alerts you to matching jobs. QuickReply Pro stores reusable replies, images and notes and inserts them into web pages.
Each Product can be installed free of charge from the relevant browser store and includes a free trial with full features. After the trial, a valid paid license is required to keep using the Product.
Licenses and payment
- Licenses are sold for a fixed period (for example 3, 6 or 12 months). Current prices are shown on the Product page and inside the extension before you buy.
- Each license is a one-time payment. It does not renew automatically, and you are never charged again unless you choose to buy another license.
- After payment, your license key is shown on screen and emailed to the address you entered. You activate it from the extension’s Settings page.
- A license is personal to you, for use by one person. You may not resell, publish or share license keys.
- Prices may change in the future. A change never affects a license you have already bought.
Payment processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Where another payment method is offered (for example a Binance USDT payment), that payment is made directly to JabDesk, and these Terms apply in the same way.
Free trial
Each Product includes a free trial so you can confirm it meets your needs before buying. One trial is allowed per person and device. We may end trials that are created in order to get around this limit.
Refunds
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. The process and conditions are described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Acceptable use
- Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Products, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Do not use the Products in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the websites you use them on (for example Upwork, WhatsApp, Gmail or Slack). You are responsible for how you use the Products on third-party websites.
- Do not attempt to bypass the license system, share keys publicly, or interfere with our servers.
We may suspend or cancel a license that is used in breach of these Terms.
Your content and backups
Replies, images, notes, keywords, cover letters and settings you create are stored locally in your browser. We do not receive or store this content. Because it lives on your device, uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data can delete it.
Each Product includes an Export feature in Settings. We strongly recommend exporting a backup regularly.
Updates and availability
We improve the Products over time and may add, change or remove features. The Products work with third-party websites that can change without notice, so a feature may occasionally stop working until we release an update. We make reasonable efforts to fix such issues promptly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Third-party websites and trademarks
JabDesk is an independent developer. Our Products are not made, endorsed or supported by Upwork, WhatsApp, Google, Slack, Microsoft or any other company whose websites they work with. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JabDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for the license concerned.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using a Product at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate a license if it is used in breach of these Terms, if the payment is reversed, refunded or charged back, or if required by law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. The version in force when you bought a license applies to that purchase.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
